Time and Tide

Title

Time and Tide

Description

This article from the first issue of Time and Tide explains the purpose of the periodical and the gap it seeks to fill in the current state of the British Press for papers that are non-partisian - that is, assumedly, papers that are not openly associated with any particular society, organisation, or political party. This sets the periodical in a unique position, even in this website's collection, nearly all of which are the organs of societies, not the more generalised publication on women's issues that Time and Tide initially sets out to be.
