The Women's Congress and the Peace Problem
Title
The Women's Congress and the Peace Problem
Description
A report by Cicely Hamilton on the meeting of the International Woman Suffrage Alliance in Geneva. Hamilton criticizes the attitudes of the Congress, particularly in regard to the League of Nations and the prevention of future warfare. She argues that "the woman's point of view on this matter of peace was very like the man's point of view: just as well-intentioned and as helpless."
